A lot of nature, a little bit of nostalgia and childhood memories – these are the ingredients of winter in Meransen. Snowball fights, walks in the snow-covered landscape and astonishing powder-snow slopes are on the daily agenda. Or else skiing in perfect conditions in the ski resort of Gitschberg Jochtal. You can decide, even if it is not easy at all. Sledging, carriage rides, cross-country ski trails and snowshoe hiking tours won’t make the decision any easier. To some, a lengthy detour in the Milla Montis Spa or yoga class will be a must. If you do not have enough time for all of these activities we are happy to welcome you again, of course.

In the ski resort Gitschberg Jochtal it is snow safe, thanks to the elevation of 1.300 – 2.500 meters above sea level. 15 lifts and 55 km of slopes make it easy to enjoy some ski pleasure – beginners enjoy it as much as experts. It is important to catch a breath every once in a while, to take a look at the majestic view of over 500 mountain peaks.
Go your own pace towards winter. In Gitschberg Jochtal you will find everything ranging from a beginner’s trail to an advanced altitude training, accompanied by the typical sound of crunching snow. Glide smoothly through the landscape on perfectly marked slopes. No matter which technique – the adventure is waiting!
